The Taiwan Film Festival Edinburgh will run online until September 27th, with a focus on the development and history of Taiwanese film and covering a variety of regions and time periods.
TaiwanFest2020, a month-long event dedicated to promoting Taiwanese culture in Canada, kicked off online with the theme "The Survived" to inspire change through arts during these challenging times.
Taiwanese artist Lee Ming-wei is teaming up with legendary American dancer and choreographer Bill T. Jones to present "Our Labyrinth" performance at the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York for an online audience.

Winners of “Arts FUN Go” vouchers round 2 announced
More than 600 thousand people who are under age 18, over age 65, or disability certificate holders, have won the "Arts FUN Go" vouchers issued by the Ministry of Culture to encourage cultural and arts consumption
"Diary of Lu Heruo" donated to literature museum
Marked by a special ceremony, the late Taiwanese literary heavyweight Lu Heruo, represented by his eldest son Lu Fang-ching, has donated his diary to the National Museum of Taiwan Literature (NMTL) for restoration and preservation.
Encouraging book vouchers issued for 2021 TiBE
Minister of Culture Lee Yung-te announced on September 1 that MOC will be issuing 200,000 book vouchers valued at NT$100 each as incentive to boost purchasing during the 2021 Taipei International Book Exhibition.

Ju Tzong-Ching (朱宗慶) is a well-acclaimed percussionist, who has played a significant role in introducing and popularizing interest in percussion music in Taiwan over the past three decades. In 2020, he was a recipient of the 39th National Cultural Award for his outstanding contributions.

Chen Hsi-huang is an outstanding performer of Taiwanese glove puppetry, and also a specialist in the production of puppet props. Chen has dedicated his life to passing on this traditional art, and was awarded the National Cultural Award in 2020 in recognition of his lifetime achievements and contributions.
