Funding secured for Taipei, Kaohsiung music centers
The Taipei Music Center the Maritime Cultural & Popular Music Center in Kaohsiung are public infrastructure projects headed up by the Ministry of Culture. Both project budgets have passed their third readings in the Legislative Yuan on Jan. 10.
Taiwan launches interdisciplinary residency program
The Ministry of Culture has partnered with the Industrial Technology Research Institute (ITRI) to launch Taiwan's first-ever residency program dedicated to the joint exploration of arts and technology — Arts@ITRI.
