Taiwan’s Museum of Archaeology opens at Tainan
After ten years in the making, Taiwan's Museum of Archaeology designed by world-renowned architect Kris Yao officially opened to the public on Oct. 19. Come by the Tainan Science Park to witness 5,000 years of Taiwanese antiquity!
TFI to celebrate 40th anniversary with screenings
In honor of the 40th anniversary of the Taiwan Film Institute and UNESCO's World Day for Audiovisual Heritage, TFI will be holding three special film screenings on Oct. 25 and 26. The TFI invites everyone to partake in cross-generational cultural memories through the revived films.
Plaque revealed for upcoming National Railway Museum
The National Railway Museum Preparatory Office held a ceremony on Oct. 2 celebrating both its grand opening and the appointment of its first director, Dr. Hung Chih-wen. The historic moment was accompanied by the unveiling of a stately plaque for the preparatory office crafted by renowned calligrapher Tong Yang-tze.

Thanks to the Yilan County Toucheng Cultural Development Association, the once-declining folk beliefs have been brought back into the community’s consciousness, and in the process, the collective memory and identity of the residents of Toucheng Old Street have been revived as well.
