Legislative Yuan passes human rights museum act
The Legislative Yuan passed the National Human Rights Museum Organization Act proposed by the Executive Yuan on Nov. 28, greenlighting the establishment of the museum after six years of preparation.
Revitalizing the ancestral worship of Kinmen
Culture Minister Cheng Li-chiun visited Qionglin Village in Kinmen on Nov. 23 to learn about the preservation and revitalization progress of Kinmen’s Qionglin Settlement and its ancestral worship of the Tsai lineage.
Renovated NTM reopens with new exhibitions
The National Taiwan Museum, a national heritage site dating back to 1908, formally reopened its doors on Nov. 20 after a two-month project on restoring its original visage and upgrading its exhibition capabilities.

As one of the best-preserved sites out of the 150 remaining settlements in Kinmen, Qionglin Village embodies important tangible and intangible assets of Minnan culture, including architecture, folk culture, and traditional rituals. Qionglin was the first of its kind in Kinmen to be registered as a national heritage site.

Voleur du Feu Theatre is a Taiwan-based group that aims to explore original screenplays and interpret contemporary literature and world classics from the perspective of Taiwan. The theater’s latest work, 'Qibla,' is a literature-derived piece produced in collaboration with the National Museum of Taiwan Literature.
