Taipei depot set to become railway museum
Encompassing a total area of 16.79 hectares, the Taipei Railway Workshop is the designated site of the proposed National Railway Museum. It will become a center for the research, collection, and display of Taiwan's railway culture and history.
NMH restores priceless Sanyu paintings
The National Museum of History is home to nearly 1,000 western-style paintings, of which 49 by the late artist Sanyu have just been painstakingly restored to healthy conditions.

Lo Sirong is a singer-songwriter who adapts music from original poems written in Hakka, Chinese, and Taiwanese languages. As mother, she also sings about motherhood and different aspects of female life. For re-popularizing Hakka music, Lo was named the 2011 Golden Melody Best Hakka Singer.

The Taiwan Quasi-Museum Development Association is a community aimed at building a sustainable hometown by integrating local history, cultural assets, industries, and regional tourism. It is also devoted to promoting arts education in the hopes of making the region a base for developing quasi-museums throughout Taiwan.
