MOC reveals selected projects for international art exhibition subsidy program

The Ministry of Culture (MOC) has announced the selected projects for international art exhibitions in the first quarter of 2023, as part of the 1 plus 4—T-content plan (文化黑潮計劃) subsidy program. A total of 44 projects have been chosen, with the subsidy of nearly NT$40 million in total funding.

Among the 44 successful applications, 40 projects will be involved in international exhibitions, showcasing Taiwan’s art industry across various regions and countries, including France, Switzerland, Hong Kong, the U.K., Japan, South Korea, Singapore, Germany, and the Philippines.

MOC emphasizes that by organizing art exhibitions locally and overseas, they aim to introduce Taiwanese artists to the world and promote active international collaboration, thereby expanding the reach of Taiwanese art in the global market.

To increase the visibility of Taiwanese artists and form networks connecting Taiwan and the international art community, MOC will continue to strengthen Taiwan’s arts industry through the 1 plus 4—T-content plan, support the expansion of overseas art markets, and encourage domestic organizers to stage art exhibitions to showcase Taiwan’s artistic and cultural soft power.
