The Cultural Division of Taipei Representative Office in Italy and the Department of Foreign Languages, Literatures and Cultures of Roma Tre University will jointly launch the "Translation and Promotion Plan of TV Series Adapted from Taiwan Classic Literature" at the Roma Tre University from Oct. 14 to Dec. 9.
Ku Ling-Lin's "The Practice of Disguise" residency program, which received the Innovator Award Honorable Mention from the International Sculpture Center among artists from 44 countries, will be launching an exhibition at the Atrium Gallery of the 18th Street Arts Center from Nov. 15 to Dec. 17.
Taiwanese artist Wu Chi-tsung's solo exhibition "jing-atmospheres" will take place at the Sean Kelly Gallery in New York from Nov. 5 to Dec. 18 to present his "Cyano-Collage" series as well as representative videos, installation works that integrate Western and Eastern aesthetics.

Five winners awarded at 11th Presidential Culture Awards
The 11th Presidential Culture Awards ceremony, organized by the General Association of Chinese Culture, was held on Nov. 30 to award this year's five winners, which include film director Ang Lee, physician Chen Rong-chi, founder of HRC Dance Studio Bojin Chen, the Dr. Chen Wen-chen Memorial Foundation, and the Taiwan Thousand Miles Trail Association.
Culture Minister promotes cultural tourism in Lukang
Culture Minister Lee Yung-te visited the Lukang Township in Changhua County, known for its rich cultural heritages, to examine the restoration process of Lukang Longshan Temple, a national historic site, and pay visits to four preservers of "Important Traditional Crafts" on Nov. 29.
Classic Taiwanese-language films screened in Lithuania
With the support of the Cultural Division of the Taipei Representative Office in the UK, professor Chris Berry of King's College London organized screenings of several Taiwanese-language films at the Skalvija theater in Vilnius, the capital of Lithuania, from Nov. 17 to 21.

Lavaus' meticulous craftsmanship and eye-catching color schemes make her works, focused primarily on the various patterns of the Paiwan people, a showcase for the development of the tribe, as well as their cultural and social life. In 2021, she was named by the Ministry as a preserver of the important traditional craft of Paiwan embroidery (kinavatjesan), making her officially a national treasure and the first traditional craftsperson from Taitung to receive the honor.

Togo Rural Village Art Museum is founded on the concept of village as art museum and art museum as village. It is dedicated to breaking down the old ideas of physical artworks and venues to treat homes as art spaces, fields as canvases, agricultural products as works of art, and farmers as artists. Taking the water buffalo as the spiritual symbol of the area, the museum strives to promote community environmental improvement and to call forth shared memories of people regarding their home town.
