The "Taiwan Cultural Route – Railroad edition" exhibition on view in Japan, will showcase works from eight Taiwanese locomotive photographers and Taiwan's railroad memorabilia.
In collaboration with the C.F. Koo Foundation, the Ministry of Culture initiated the "TaiwanEYE Online Showcase" project to help promote 10 Taiwanese performing arts troupes during the COVID-19 pandemic.
Taiwan photographer Wu Cheng-chang's "Vision of Taiwan" series of images concerning the environment of Taiwan, will be featured by the Manuel Rivera-Ortiz Foundation for Documentary Photography & Film's summer exhibition.
The 2020 Yokohama Triennale in Japan will be showcasing the works of three Taiwanese interdisciplinary artists — Zhang Xu-zhan, Joyce Ho, and Aluaiy Pulidan.

Arts & culture industry invited to join stimulus program
The Ministry of Culture will issue 2 million booklets of "Arts FUN Go" vouchers, valued at NT$600 each booklet, to encourage domestic cultural and arts consumption.The "Arts FUN Go" voucher program, a supplementary measure of the "Triple Stimulus Vouchers" program launched by the Executive Yuan on July 15, is estimated to generate NT$5 billion in value from domestic cultural and arts consumption.
Culture Minister laments publisher Tsai Wen-fu
Minister of Culture Lee Yung-te expressed his profound sorrow and heartfelt condolences on the passing of Chiu Ko Publishing Company's founder Tsai Wen-fu on July 15. Tsai was a literary pioneer who had long balanced multiple roles of writer, editor, publisher, and entrepreneur that nurtured literary attainments of generations in Taiwan.
Taiwan holds live Taipei Film Awards ceremony
The 22nd edition of the Taipei Film Awards, which honors achievements of Taiwanese cinema, was held live on July 11 at the Zhongshan Hall in Taipei. Minister of Culture Lee Yung-te said Taiwan upholds the tenets of freedom, democracy, and pluralistic values, which contribute to an environment that gives birth to the vitality and diversity of locally produced films.

They also try to deal with modern conflicts, such as the need to both exploit and protect the environment, national identity, and the tensions between different social classes.
