The Taiwan Cultural Center in Tokyo and the National Museum of Taiwan Literature are co-hosting the exhibition "Palatable Reads - Literature Seasoned with the Flavors of Taiwan." 
The Museum of Vancouver inaugurated the photography exhibition "Mirage: Disused Public Property in Taiwan" on May 30, showcasing Taiwanese artist Yao Jui-chung's works exposing Taiwan's "mosquito halls."
The 7th Taiwan Film Festival in Australia, commencing on July 25, will tour six Australian cities – Sydney, Canberra, Brisbane, Hobart, Melbourne, and Adelaide – over two months, showcasing 50 Taiwanese films to cinephiles across Australia.

The Taiwan Pavilion at the Cultural Olympiad in Paris will host a "Win Together Glory Night" on Friday, featuring internationally-acclaimed drag queen Nymphia Wind and other performers.

The Ministry of Culture held a media event on Aug. 5 to introduce the main theme of the 2024 Creative Expo Taiwan, which will be hosted in Tainan City. In addition, the curatorial team unveiled the exhibition zones across the region.

The National Museum of Taiwan Literature held the Taiwan Literature Awards for Original Works on Aug. 3, presenting the highest honors in literature to outstanding writers across the country.

Hung Hsin-fu is a paper artist, pop-up book expert, and the inventor of the origami lantern. His achievements include receiving the Taiwan Good Craft recognition and setting the Guinness World Record for the "longest pop-up book" in 2013. To him, paper is not just a tool for writing or painting, but it also serves as a tangible media.
