In collaboration with the Taipei Economic and Cultural Office (TECO) in Thailand, the MAIIAM Contemporary Art Museum launched an art exchange exhibition on Nov. 2 in Chiang Mai to showcase the creations of both Taiwanese and Thai artists.
The 2024 Asian Art Biennial is set to open in November this year. The National Taiwan Museum of Fine Arts (NTMoFA) revealed the Biennial theme, as well as the first batch of participating artists and their works, in a press conference on Aug. 1. 
The Skövde Art Museum in Sweden launched a Taiwanese art exhibition titled “Nothing Happened here Today” on Oct. 17, showcasing different aspects of Taiwanese culture through the works of 9 Taiwanese artists.

The 2025 Taipei International Book Exhibition (TiBE) concluded on Feb. 9. The Ministry of Culture (MOC) highlighted that this year’s TiBE featured 504 domestic and international publishers from 29 countries and attracted 570,000 visitors.

The Ministry of Culture (MOC) and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MOFA) held a meeting on Feb. 11, marking the first discussion between Minister of Culture Li Yuan and Minister of Foreign Affairs Lin Chia-lung (林佳龍).

The National Taiwan Museum of Fine Arts cordially invites international professionals to join its International Residency Program. This program offers a unique opportunity to conduct research and engage in meaningful collaborative exchanges at the museum. 
Cultural Features
Following the end of World War II, architects became highly sought after due to the urgent need to rebuild the country. During this time, Hsiu Tse-lan emerged as a prominent architect, standing out in a profession where women were rare. Her architectural designs were highly expressive.

Situated in the northwestern corner of Hsinchu Park, the Glass Museum of Hsinchu City is housed in the former Hsinchu Civic Hall, which was constructed in 1936 during the period of Japanese rule. A two-story reinforced concrete building, the Hsinchu Civic Hall was designed by Seigo Teshima.
