In collaboration with the Cultural Division of Taipei Economic and Cultural Office (TECO) in Prague, the One World International Human Rights Film Festival, running from Mar. 12 to Apr. 27 in the Czech Republic, features three films from Taiwan.
Co-presented by the Ministry of Culture (MOC) and British Film Institute (BFI), “Myriad Voices: Reframing Taiwan New Cinema” will run at the BFI Southbank in London from Mar. 31 to Apr. 30. 
With support from the Ministry of Culture (MOC) and Taiwan Academy in Los Angeles, Taiwanese artist Ciwas Tahos (also known as Anchi Lin) is featured in the Hawai’i Triennial 2025, presenting her work “Pswagi Temahahoi.”

The exhibition “Of Anarchy in Music: More Journeys in Sound,” co-presented by the National Taiwan Museum of Fine Arts (NTMoFA) and France’s National Museum of Modern Art - Centre Pompidou, was inaugurated on Apr. 12.

The Taiwanese film “Yen and Ai-Lee,” directed by Lin Shu-yu, received the Grand Jury Feature Film Award at the 19th Asian Pop-Up Cinema (APUC), held in Chicago, the U.S., from Mar. 20 to Apr. 13.

The Taiwan Literature Base, which is under the National Museum of Taiwan Literature, is holding an open call for its 2025 Writers-in-Residence program. The program offers writers the opportunity to reside at the Taiwan Literature Base in Taipei. 
Cultural Features
Born in Linnei Township, Yunlin County, Chen Chung-sheng is a composer, flutist, conductor, and educator. He studied at the Taiwan Provincial Taichung Normal School and the Music Department of Soochow University. His mentors included Chen Tscheng-hsiung, Lai Deh-ho, Ma Shui-long, and Lu Yen.

Located within the Cheng Mei Cultural Park in Yongjing Township, Changhua County, the Wei Cheng-mei Hall is a century-old building that once served as the residence of a local gentry family surnamed Wei.
