Kunstfest Weimar, an annual arts festival in Weimar City, Germany, will present the Taiwan Fokus program from Aug. 24 to Sept. 6. This program will feature Taiwanese performing artists and arts groups.
The 7th Taiwan Film Festival in Australia, commencing on July 25, will tour six Australian cities – Sydney, Canberra, Brisbane, Hobart, Melbourne, and Adelaide – over two months, showcasing 50 Taiwanese films to cinephiles across Australia. 
The Ministry of Culture, the Cultural Division of the Taipei Representative Office in Germany, and the Taiwanese Representative Office in Lithuania are co-organizing the photography exhibition "Taiwan Two and Two."

The 2024 Creative Expo Taiwan was officially inaugurated at the International Convention & Exhibition Center in Tainan City on Aug. 26, featuring a record-breaking 700 booths and over 570 business brands.

Supported by the Ministry of Culture, OISTAT has established its headquarters in Taiwan since 2006. On Aug. 23, Deputy Culture Minister Lee Ching-hwi and OISTAT President Aby Cohen signed an agreement to extend OISTAT's stay in Taiwan.

The Ministry of Culture and Fulbright Taiwan signed a memorandum of understanding, extending the Fulbright – Taiwan Ministry of Culture, Arts Professionals Program through 2027. The open call for the 2025 program was also announced. 
Cultural Features
Lu Ching-jhih was born in Guanmiao District, Tainan City, in 1945. From the Japanese rule until the 1960s, bamboo weaving was widely practiced in Guanmiao, often as a family business. Under her parents' guidance, Lu began learning bamboo weaving at a young age and continued to focus on it after graduating from elementary school.

The Taipei Performing Arts Center is a dedicated performing arts and cultural facility, which has geometrical shapes with a total space area of 50,000 m2. The building was designed by David Gianotten and Rem Koolhaas from the international architectural firm, Office for Metropolitan Architecture, in collaboration with ARTECH.
