Supported by the Cultural Division of the Taipei Economic and Cultural Office in Sydney, the 2nd Biennial Live Event in the Everyday Digital (BLEED) takes place across three cities, Melbourne, Sydney, and Taipei, from Aug. 29 to Sep. 25. Established in 2020, BLEED is a six-year project exploring how the online makes us feel.
Three Taiwanese artists Huang Hsin-chien, Hsu Chia-wei, and Yu Cheng-ta is selected to join the Aichi Triennale, one of the largest international art festivals in Japan, to showcase the artistic energy of Taiwan on the international stage from July 30 through Oct. 10.
Since its inception in 2016, the annual Taiwanese film screening event, rolled out by the Taiwan Cultural Center in Tokyo, has been well-received. From April 16 to October 22 this year, 7 Taiwanese films are streamed online. Taiwanese animated film "City of Lost Things" was screened on the first day of the event.
