South By Southwest (SXSW), the largest innovative creative content exhibition in the U.S., will take place from Mar. 7 to 15 in Austin, Texas. This year, four groups of Taiwanese artists have been selected to showcase their innovative works at SXSW. 
The Skövde Art Museum in Sweden launched a Taiwanese art exhibition titled “Nothing Happened here Today” on Oct. 17, showcasing different aspects of Taiwanese culture through the works of 9 Taiwanese artists.
The Taipei Cultural Center in New York, in collaboration with the Museum of the Moving Image (MoMI), will host the New York premiere of the documentary “Park (Taman-taman)” at the First Look Festival on Mar. 13.

Taiwanese manga artist Zuo Hsuan attended the Japan International Manga Award presentation ceremony on Mar. 12, receiving the Silver prize for her work “The Banana Sprout vol.2.”

Minister of Culture Li Yuan visited Taitung County on Mar. 15 to celebrate the opening of Paul Chiang Art Center and the selection of Bulareyaung Dance Company (BDC) as part of the Ministry of Culture’s Taiwan Brand Project.

The Taiwan Traditional Theatre Festival 2025, titled “within/out Boundaries,” is scheduled to take place from Apr. 11 to June. 8, featuring 11 exciting productions. This year’s festival will present two flagship productions.

As an art educator, Liao believed that there was no right or wrong in art. During his years as a professor at the National Taiwan Normal University, Liao gave his students personal freedom to paint in their own ways.

Located in Duxingshi Village Cultural Park, Penghu Bookstore is an independent bookstore opened in 2022 in Magong City of Penghu, one of Taiwan’s outlying islands. The bookstore is housed in what was once a military dependents’ village, which had gradually been abandoned over time.
