Kettle's Yard, one of the museums of the University of Cambridge, is hosting an art exhibition titled "Making New Worlds: Li Yuan-chia & Friends." It showcases the artworks of Li Yuan-chia and his influence on the artscene in the U.K. 
Taiwanese artist Kao Pao-hui's solo exhibition "25 Seasons – Landscapes of Paper and Lacquer" opens now until March 17, 2024, at the Spazio Nobile Gallery in Belgium. 
The Thailand Biennale 2023 kicked off in Chiang Rai on Dec. 9. This year's theme is "Open World." Among 60 artists from around the globe, three Taiwanese artists were invited to showcase their artworks.

The National Taiwan Craft Research and Development Institute and the National Yunlin University of Science and Technology's College of Design co-hosted a workshop on the innovation of crafts made with bamboo and rice-paper plant on Jan. 31.

The historical exhibition "Transcending 1624: Taiwan and the World" jointly organized by the National Museum of Taiwan History and the Kobe City Museum of Japan was officially inaugurated in Tainan City, bringing together hundreds of artifacts.

The National Museum of History has completed its large-scale renovation project and is set to reopen to the public on Feb. 21 with a new permanent exhibition titled "Discover Our Connections, Right Here."
Cultural Features
Early in her career, Wei Shu-chen worked at the Independence Evening Post, where she broke societal taboos by publishing works like "Taiwan's Elite Figures Who Disappeared during the February 28 Incident in 1947" while serving in the newspaper’s cultural publishing department.

The Council for Cultural Affairs, predecessor of the Ministry of Culture, launched "the Challenge 2008 National Development Plan" in 2002. Under the plan, the old Hualien winery buildings were transformed into the Hualien Cultural Creative Park. It was designed to become a regional platform for cultural events and commercial services.
