With support from the Ministry of Culture (MOC) and Taiwan Academy in Los Angeles, Taiwanese artist Ciwas Tahos (also known as Anchi Lin) is featured in the Hawai’i Triennial 2025, presenting her work “Pswagi Temahahoi.”
Supported by the Cultural Division of the Taipei Representative Office in Germany, Taiwanese artist Chen Ting-jung’s  solo exhibition “Here On the Edge of the Sea We Sit” opened on Mar. 20 at the renowned daadgalerie in Berlin. 
Supported by the Ministry of Culture, the Queer East Festival in the U.K., running from Apr. 23 to May 18, features Taiwanese films, artists, and writer Chi Ta-wei.

The National Human Rights Museum (NHRM) held a ceremony on Apr. 24 to unveil the updated name inscriptions on its human rights memorial monument. Minister of Culture Li Yuan and political victims and their family members attended the event.

The National Museum of History (NMH) held the opening ceremony for the exhibition “An Educator’s Artful Colors: Works by Chung Kui-ying, a First-generation Female Artist in Post-war Taiwan” on Apr. 28.

The picture book “Hide & Seek,” created by Page Tsou and published by the National Taiwan Museum (NTM), has been selected for the Top 50 Picture Books of 2025 (Ehon 50) by the Japan School Library Association. 
Cultural Features
Fu Tien-yu is a Taiwanese film director, scriptwriter, and author. She studied Japanese literature at the National Chengchi University in Taipei and earned her Master’s degree in media and film studies from New York University. In 2024, Fu Tien-yu received the Kurosawa Akira Award at the Tokyo International Film Festival.

Located in the Shanshang District of Tainan City, the original Tainan Waterworks has a century-long history and is an important historical site that has borne witness to the development of water resources in the greater Tainan area. Today, the Tainan Waterworks has been transformed into a charming museum.
