Supported by the Cultural Division of the Taipei Economic and Cultural Office in Sydney, Taiwanese artists Eleng Luluan and Zhang Xu-zhan are featured at the 11th Asia Pacific Triennial of Contemporary Art (APT11).
The One World International Human Rights Film Festival, running from Mar. 12 to Apr. 27 in the Czech Republic, features three films from Taiwan: “Xi Xi,” “Island in Between,” and “Address Unknown: Fukushima Now.”
Co-presented by the Ministry of Culture and British Film Institute (BFI), “Myriad Voices: Reframing Taiwan New Cinema” will run at the BFI Southbank in London from Mar. 31 to Apr. 30.

To celebrate the World Book and Copyright Day on Apr. 23, the Ministry of Culture has launched “2025 Let’s Go Reading” event, which is running from Apr. 19 to 27 at the Taiwan Contemporary Culture Lab (C-LAB) in Taipei.

Celebrating the designation of a minor planet as “Chenchengpo” in honor of the late Taiwanese artist Chen Cheng-po, the National Taiwan Museum (NTM) launched the mini-exhibition “666166 Chenchengpo” at its Railway Department Park.

The Cultural Division of the Taipei Economic and Cultural Office in Malaysia and ArtsEquator collaborated to invite 11 arts writers and critics from Southeast Asia to Taiwan in mid-April.

Born in 1949 in Luodong Township, Yilan County, Li showed a natural talent for art from an early age, driven by his passion for painting. While still a student, he apprenticed at Luodong Theater and Wanguo Theater, where he painted theater boards.

In 2001, a group of younger adults from Tugou established the Tugou Village Rural Culture Creation Association to promote the transformation of their home by focusing on the living environment of rural residents and reconceptualizing the aesthetics of rural life.
