Fringe Focus Taiwan in Melbourne > Until Oct. 12

The Ministry of Culture, in collaboration with the Melbourne Fringe Festival, presents the 5th Fringe Focus Taiwan program to showcase dance pieces "TOMATO" and "Girl's Notes" by Taiwanese choreographers Chou Kuan-jou and Su Pin-wen, respectively.

'Pixel Gods' exhibition in Spain > Until Oct. 13

Supported by the Cultural Division of the Taipei Economic and Cultural Office in Spain, the L.E.V. Matadero 2024, an annual audiovisual and digital art festival in Madrid, will host the exhibition "Pixel Gods: Taiwan Digital" from Sept. 19 to Oct. 13.

TTXC to feature digital artists-in-residence

In preparation for the 2024 Taiwan Technology X Culture Expo in Kaohsiung City, the Pier-2 Art Center launched a themed residency focusing on "Digital and Technological Art," and has invited artists-in-residence to participate in the program.

The International Committee for Architecture and Museum Techniques 50th Annual Conference is taking place at National Museum of Prehistory in Taitung County from Oct. 6 to 8.

Organized by National Center for Traditional Arts, the 2024 Asia-Pacific Traditional Arts Festival kicked off on Oct. 5 in Yilan County, and is set to run until Oct. 13.

Preserver of Buddha Sculpture Techniques | Tsai Tien-min

Tsai Tien-min was born into a family of Buddha sculpture makers, as he is the fourth-generation successor of a Buddha sculpture store run by his family. He has been helping at the store since he graduated from elementary school and learned the craft from his grandfather Tsai Hsin and father Tsai Nan-shan.
