Taiwanese comic book "Son of Formosa" won the 7th Émile Guimet Prize for Asian Literature in the new category of graphic novel. One of its authors, Yu Pei-yun, attended the award ceremony in Paris.
"The Island Scene," a curatorial project featured at the Matsu Biennial 2023, won the prestigious 2024 iF Design Award. Consisting of eight unique works, this project transforms the military history and folk culture of the Matsu Islands into landscape art.
The 17th International Manga Award, hosted by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Japan, took place on Mar. 5. Among 587 submissions, the Taiwanese manga "Wind Chaser Under the Blue Sky," created by Jason Chien, won the gold prize.
