Located in the Lalauran Tribe of Taimali Township, Taitung County, the Hunter School Education Foundation was founded in 2004 by Paiwan author Sakinu Yaronglong. The Foundation’s mission is to promote the core values of hunting culture through environmental experiences and life education.
Built in 1899 by Japanese architects Rin Miyao, Dōgo Fukuda, and Ichiro Nomura, Taipei Guest House was later redesigned by Matsunosuke Moriyama in 1911—a transformation that largely defines its appearance today. A major restoration project began in 2002 and was completed in May 2006.
