Taiwanese film director Singing Chen’s virtual reality (VR) work “The Clouds Are Two Thousand Meters Up” has been selected for the Immersive Pavilion of the Luxembourg City Film Festival. 
Supported by the Ministry of Culture, the Cultural Division of the Taipei Representative Office in Germany and the Taipei Book Fair Foundation will present Taiwanese comics at Leipzig Manga-Comic-Con 2026 under the theme “Taiwan Comics, Flavor Remix.” 
The Ludwig Museum – Museum of Contemporary Art in Budapest is presenting the exhibition “Before the Storm: Taiwan on the Frontier of Past and Future” through Mar. 29, 2026.

In alignment with global trends and the Development of National Languages Act, the National Museum of Taiwan Literature (NMTL) will launch the 2026 Mother Tongue Literary Writing Workshop series on Mar. 29.

On Mar. 14, the 2026 Luxembourg City Film Festival announced that “The Clouds Are Two Thousand Meters Up,” a virtual reality (VR) film by Taiwanese director Singing Chen, won the Best Immersive Experience award in its Immersive Pavilion.

The National Taiwan Symphony Orchestra (NTSO) will present its “2025/26 Season – Lan Shui, Jan Vogler, & NTSO” concert on Mar. 20 at the National Kaohsiung Center for the Arts (Weiwuying) and on Mar. 21 at the Taichung Chung Shan Hall.

OuYang received his education at the National School of Arts (now the National Taiwan University of Arts), the Mannes School of Music, and the State University of New York. He currently serves on the faculty of the Music Department at Shih Chien University, where he is also the conductor of the department’s orchestra.

Among the most dynamic decorative arts found in Taiwan’s traditional temples are Jiao-zhi and Chien-nien. To safeguard their continuation, Jiao-zhi pottery master Chen Chung-cheng and his wife Hsieh Chiu-tuan founded the Bantaoyao Crafts Studio of Jiao-Zhi Pottery & Chien-Nien in 2005.
