Minister visits crafts hub Lukang Township
Culture Minister Cheng Li-chiun visited Changhua's Lukang Township, the revered hub of traditional crafts in Taiwan, to meet with honored craftsmen, act as chief celebrant at the Lu Ban Public Banquet, and visit the national historic site of Lungshan Temple.
Shortlist for the 7th Golden Comic Awards unveiled
The shortlist for the 7th Golden Comic Awards was announced on June 14 – a total of 24 submissions out of 118 competing entries was nominated for the awards after initial review. Winners will be announced at the awards ceremony on Aug. 2.
Translated books offered for foreign readership
Authors and translators celebrated the completion of sixteen foreign-language editions of iconic Taiwanese publications – seven in English, four in Japanese, three in Korean, one in French, and one in Swedish – at the National Museum of Taiwan Literature.
