Fulbright-Taiwan Ministry of Culture, Arts Professionals Grants, sponsored by Taiwan Ministry of Culture and U.S. Department of State, released the 1st-cohort official grantee list for Academic Year 2022, which was just approved by the Fulbright Foreign Scholarship Board.
Six illustrators from Taiwan, including Ballboss (Chou I-hsien), Huang Yi-wen, Lin Lian-en, Page Tsou, Chen Yin-ju and Yu Chih-chu, were chosen for inclusion in the Illustrators Exhibition, which was held from Mar. 21 through 24 concurrently with the 59th edition of the Bologna Children’s Book Fair.
Veteran Taiwanese actor Ku Pao-ming passed away on Mar. 19 at the age of 72. Ku had a lifelong passion for acting and was active in television shows, movies, and stage plays, and was recognized with Golden Bell and Golden Horse awards for his outstanding achievements.
