Taiwanese technology art groups Dimension Plus and Simple Noodle Art will participate in Are You Human?, a technology art exhibition and international symposium organized by the KHOJ International Artists’ Association in New Delhi.
The Museum of Contemporary Art, Taipei, and the Ludwig Museum – Museum of Contemporary Art in Budapest are collaborating to present the exhibition “Before the Storm: Taiwan on the Frontier of Past and Future” through Mar. 29, 2026.
With support from the Ministry of Culture (MOC), the Taipei Cultural Center in New York has partnered with Pioneer Works to present the exhibition “The Endless Garment: Atlantic Basin.”

The Taipei Fashion Week AW26 will take place from Mar. 26 to 29. The Ministry of Culture announced that the Taipei Fashion Week will reposition itself as a platform dedicated to supporting the industry’s long-term development.

The Taiwan Creative Content Agency presented five Taiwanese films at the European Film Market 2026 on Feb. 14, showcasing a diverse array of works aimed at attracting international co-production partnerships.

The National Center for Traditional Arts (NCFTA) will host the “Performance Project for Successors of Traditional Arts” at its Yilan Park beginning Feb. 27. Spanning 188 days with a total of 376 performances, the project will offer audiences a rich and varied program of traditional arts.
Cultural Features
Born in 1960 in Jhushan Township, Nantou, Liu Hsing-tse grew up watching his father skillfully create bamboo products as he often assisted in the family factory after school. This immersive experience fostered his deep affection for bamboo. After graduating from junior high school, Liu decided to apprentice at a bamboo workshop.

In 1906, the first modern sugar factory in Taiwan was established there by the Japanese Meiji Sugar Company, later becoming Jiali Sugar Factory. The predecessor of Soulangh Cultural Park was a group of 14 warehouses belonging to the Jiali Sugar Factory, covering an area of approximately 13.8 hectares.
