With support from the Taiwan Cultural Center in Paris, the Swiss Cinematheque  is hosting the “Taiwanese New Waves” screening program from Nov. 1 to Dec. 31. It features 21 films across 48 screenings, tracing the evolution of Taiwanese cinema.
With support from the Ministry of Culture (MOC) and the Taiwan Academy in Houston, the exhibition “Breaking Ground: Art and Activism in Indigenous Taiwan” opened on Aug. 16 at the IAIA Museum of Contemporary Native Arts (MoCNA) in Santa Fe, U.S.
With the support of the Cultural Division of the Taipei Economic and Cultural Office in Thailand, River City Bangkok is hosting the international graffiti exhibition “Graffiti Social Club.” Opened on Oct. 9, the exhibition will be on view through Jan. 4, 2026.

The Hualien Cultural and Cultural Creative Industries Park opened the Little Bookland, the first national-level picture book hub in Eastern Taiwan. Minister of Culture Li Yuan and other distinguished guests attended the opening ceremony on Dec. 13.

The National Taiwan Museum of Fine Arts (NTMoFA) launched the 2026 Taiwan International Print Biennial on Dec. 13, opening submissions to artists worldwide through Jan. 12, 2026.

The National Taiwan Craft Research and Development Institute (NTCRI) opened the exhibition “Crafted from the Soul – Weaving and Dyeing Art of Chen Ching-lin” on Dec. 13 at its Taipei Branch.

Established in 1996, the Assignment Theatre has adopted the training methods and theoretical system of “People’s Theatre” to integrate local history and life experience and to explore theatrical forms of performance aesthetics in modern theater. The troupe also hosts regular community and educational workshops.

Located in Taichung City’s Beitun District, the Taichung Military Kindred Village Museum was originally part of Beitun New Village. The settlement housed senior officers—major and above—from the Aero Industry Development Center, making it one of Taichung’s most important military kindred villages.
