With support from the Cultural Division of the Taipei Representative Office in Germany and the Taiwanese Representative Office in Lithuania, the 7th Taiwan on Screen Film Festival is taking place from Feb. 8 to 16 across three major Lithuanian cities.
In partnership with the Cultural Division of the Taipei Representative Office in the U.K., the Delfina Foundation is now accepting applications for a 12-week residency in London. 
Taiwanese technology art groups Dimension Plus and Simple Noodle Art will participate in Are You Human?, a technology art exhibition and international symposium organized by the KHOJ International Artists’ Association in New Delhi.

The Ministry of Culture announced the lineup for the 2026 Taiwan Brand Project, naming Taipei Puppet Theater as the newest addition this year. Minister of Culture Li Yuan visited the troupe on Feb. 10 to congratulate the team.

After six days of community engagement, the 2026 Taipei International Book Exhibition (TiBE) concluded on February 8. More than 580,000 visitors attended the exhibition, underscoring its growing international reach and cultural impact.

On Feb. 9, the Ministry of Culture announced the lineups for the 2026 Taiwan Season at the Festival Off Avignon and the Edinburgh Festival Fringe. A total of 94 performing arts groups submitted applications this year.

After completing his studies in fine arts education at the National Taichung Teachers College, Zhou worked as an elementary school teacher in New Taipei City for over a decade. In his thirties, he was recognized with the Excellent Teacher Award by the Ministry of Education.

Situated in the northwestern corner of Hsinchu Park, the Glass Museum of Hsinchu City is housed in the former Hsinchu Civic Hall, which was constructed in 1936 during the period of Japanese rule. A two-story reinforced concrete building, the Hsinchu Civic Hall was designed by Seigo Teshima.
