Taiwan Music Institute thanks donors
The Taiwan Music Institute hosted a press conference on Oct. 24 to showcase the 2019 donations of Taiwan's precious musical works and relics, including compositions, plays, and publications relating to music, theater, and traditional art.
Third photographic heritage series available
The National Taiwan Museum of Fine Arts held a press conference on Oct. 23 to launch the third set of the ongoing "Photographers of Taiwan" series, which encompasses the biographical story of each photographer's life and their pursuit of art.
Writers with disabilities honored at Enable Prize
The ceremony for the 18th Enable Prize was held on Oct. 25 to encourage citizens who are living with disabilities to express their persevering attitude and optimism for life through literature, and serve as a platform for sharing their creations with the public.
Fifth edition of Tibetan festival opens in Taipei
The 2019 Tibetan Culture and Art Festival in Taiwan taking place through March 31, 2020 will encompass an academic seminar on Tibetan Buddhism, a rare performance by musician Ani Choying Dolma, and a special exhibition on Tibetan miniatures.
