Organized by the Association of International Photography Art Dealers (AIPAD), the Photography Show will take place from Apr. 22 to 26 at the Park Avenue Armory in New York, United States. 
The Thailand Biennale 2025, opening through Apr. 30, features Taiwan-based Malaysian film director Tsai Ming-liang and Taiwanese new media artist Wu Chi-yu. 
The Taiwan Cultural Center in Paris, in collaboration with CENTQUATRE-PARIS, Kaohsiung Film Archive, the French Office in Taipei, and France’s National Centre for Cinema and Moving Image (CNC), presents Villa Formose Immersive.

The National Taiwan Museum of Fine Arts (NTMoFA) and the National Center of Photography and Images (NCPI) jointly released the ninth installment of the “Photographers of Taiwan” book series on Apr. 22.

Cinematographer and film director Lai Cheng-ying passed away on Apr. 18 at the age of 95. Saddened by the news, Minister of Culture Li Yuan expressed condolences, honoring Lai as a pivotal figure in Taiwanese cinema.

The National Museum of Taiwan History (NMTH) has partnered with the Ministry of Sports to present “Asia on the Field: Taiwan and the Asian Games Special Exhibition,” opening Apr. 21. 
Cultural Features
Tucked away in Sanxia Old Street, New Taipei City, Haksip Village was originally a hospital founded in 1947 by Dr. Chen Chung-ming, a physician who had served at National Taiwan University Hospital before returning to his hometown. After years of medical service, the hospital was later converted into an elderly care center.

To revitalize and reuse historic sites in the area, the New Taipei City Government established the Tamsui Historical Museum in 2005, which has since been hard at work promoting the investigation, gathering, research, collection, display, and promotion of historic monuments and cultural relics in the Tamsui area.
