UC BERKELEY TO PROMOTE TAIWANESE CULTURE

The Berkeley branch of the University of California will help promote Taiwanese art and culture by taking part in the Ministry of Culture's Spotlight Taiwan program.

‘RIPPLES ON WATER’ FEATURING LIN GUO-SHINN

“Ripples on Water,” an exhibition featuring the exquisite teapots by Taiwan’s silversmith Lin Guo-shinn, will take place between Aug. 3 and Sept. 8 in Taipei.


‘NEW BEGINNINGS’ FEATURING TAIWANESE INMATES

An exhibition featuring the crafts and artworks by Taiwanese inmates will run from Aug. 10 through Sept. 1 at the National Dr. Sun Yat-sen Memorial Hall.


‘FUNG YING RHAPSODY’

The National Chinese Orchestra of Taiwan, a subordinate music ensemble of the National Center for Traditional Arts, will hold a concert in Taipei on Sept. 5.


‘COME TO OUR FUTURE'

Created from the concept of having animals narrate the challenges of climate change, “Come to Our Future” is now showing at the National Museum of Prehistory in Taitung.


‘BLUE SKY ART EXHIBITION’

The R.O.C. Air Force’s Blue Sky Art Exhibition is scheduled for Aug. 8 through 18 at the National Dr. Sun Yat-sen Memorial Hall.
