In 2010, after earning a master’s degree in musical scoring, Lu returned to Taiwan from the U.K. In the early stages of his career, he mostly worked on scores for short films and advertisements, with occasional opportunities in theater, pop music, and art installations.
Located in Yilan County, Lìzé Puppet Art Colony is Taiwan’s first art space dedicated to contemporary puppetry as its core discipline. Since its founding in 2014, the Colony has transformed traditional agricultural architecture into a multifaceted hub for artistic creation, exhibitions, education, and international exchange.
