The Cultural Division of the Taipei Economic and Cultural Office in Spain is collaborating with Genalguacil Pueblo Museo in Málaga to present works by Taiwanese artist Liu Cheng-hsiang (劉呈祥) at ARCO Art Fair Madrid 2026. 
Taiwan is this year’s featured country at the Hybrid Art Fair in Madrid. To mark the occasion, the Cultural Division of the Taipei Economic and Cultural Office in Spain will co-present the exhibition “Taiwan Tide: The Power of Intermittence”.
The Ludwig Museum – Museum of Contemporary Art in Budapest is presenting the exhibition “Before the Storm: Taiwan on the Frontier of Past and Future” through Mar. 29, 2026.

The National Taiwan Symphony Orchestra (NTSO) will present a performance of Giuseppe Verdi’s “Messa da Requiem” on Mar. 15 at the National Taichung Theater, led by NTSO Principal Guest Conductor Lan Shui.

Japan’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs held the 19th International Manga Award ceremony on Mar. 4, where Taiwanese comic artist Nananrih received the Silver Prize for “The Nature Chef.”

To commemorating the 50th anniversary of the passing of Taiwanese artist Liao Chi-chun, the National Taiwan Museum of Fine Arts (NTMoFA) launched the exhibition “Rhythmic Beauty in the Interplay of Colors: Liao Chi-chun’s World of Art” on Feb. 7.

Born in Miaoli in 1963, Hsu moved to Taoyuan at the age of 15 to study art at St. Francis Xavier High School. This transition from the tranquil suburbs to the bustling urban environment left her maladjusted during her adolescence. It was not until she encountered ceramic sculpture at school that she became inspired by the endless possibilities of shaping clay.

Located in Yingge District—an area internationally renowned for pottery—the NTCAM is situated on the Sanying Reclaimed Land. The museum complex represents a significant milestone in the New Taipei City Government’s urban renewal and cultural development initiatives.
