SHAW YU-MING IS THE NEW PTS CHAIRMAN

Shaw Yu-ming, the former head of Taiwan's now defunct Government Information Office and Cabinet spokesman, has been elected to serve as chairman of the Public Television Service (PTS).

NATIONAL CULTURAL AWARD: CALL FOR APPLICANTS

The Ministry of Culture will accept applications for the 2014 National Cultural Award up until Aug. 23, 2013. No restrictions are placed upon the nationality of the applicant.
