Two Taiwan acts have been invited to participate in the inaugural Thailand Biennale — the foremost international exhibition of contemporary arts in Thailand.
The Ulan-Ude-based National Museum of the Republic of Buryatia and the Ministry of Culture have curated a special Lunar New Year exhibition offering Taiwanese prints.
Featuring 36 contemporary Taiwanese artists, Taiwan's culture of freedom is being showcased through the arts at the Taipei Representative Office in Singapore.

National Cultural Award to honor writer, opera diva
Hakka writer Li Qiao and Taiwanese opera actress Tang Mei-yun have been named as the honorees of the 38th National Cultural Award for their superlative contributions to the worlds of literature and traditional arts.
Taiwan-Japan bird carving exhibit opens in Taipei
The National Taiwan Craft Research and Development Institute is staging "Lifelike: Taiwan-Japan Bird Carving Crafts Exhibition" at its Taipei Branch through March 24 to showcase 53 works by Taiwanese and Japanese sculptors.
Nationwide exhibition pays tribute to late painter
A retrospective exhibition on Shiy De-jinn — a late nativist painter known for his unique visual vocabulary derived from the cultures and landscapes of Taiwan — is taking place in four parts in Hsinchu, Changhua, Tainan, and Taitung.

Kaohsiung's San-he Tile Kiln is the only one of its kind remaining in this region. The fires of its historic kilns have stayed burning for over 80 years under the watchful eyes of three generations of the Li family.
