With support from the Ministry of Culture, the Taiwan Academy in Los Angeles and the 45th Hawaii International Film Festival (HIFF) have partnered up to present the “Spotlight on Taiwan” program from Oct. 16 to 26. 
The Taipei Economic and Cultural Office in Sydney is collaborating with Performance Space to present two performances – “I remember what the machine remembers what I remember” and “Sticky Hands, Stitched Mountains” – at Liveworks Festival.  
Taiwanese curator Chen Yung-hsien is collaborating with Spanish curator Txema Agiriano to present the exhibition “Voice of Rolling Tides” at Bizkaia Aretoa in Bilbao, Spain, from Oct. 22 to 30.

The Taiwan Technology X Culture Expo 2025 (TTXC) held its International Forum on Oct. 22, focusing on the latest developments in artificial intelligence (AI) and its applications in content creation.

The Ministry of Culture (MOC) held a press conference on Oct. 17 to launch Taiwan Culture Day, kicking off a series of events that will take place across the island through Nov. 2.

The Ministry of Culture (MOC) invited eight Taiwanese performing arts groups that participated in the Festival Off Avignon or the Edinburgh Festival Fringe this year to share their experiences on Oct. 16.

Due to population aging and emigration, Daqi Village once had fewer than 500 residents. Since the TNNUA Graduate Institute of Architecture launched its Community-Building Program in 2004, students have been taking part in residency programs in Daqi, gradually opening up new avenues for community engagement.

Tainan Film Studio was originally home to the sugar factory from which it takes its name. This factory was established in 1903 by Tainan sugar merchant Wang Xuenong and a group of other industrialists as a new type of sugar factory under the name of Ensuiko Sugar Refining.
