Taiwan-Malaysia anthology now available in English

To introduce more literary works from Asia to English-speaking readers, a translated anthology of works by Taiwanese and Malaysian writers was released in late January under the auspices of the Ministry of Culture's Emerald Initiative.


The anthology featuring 12 short stories by six Taiwanese and six Malaysian writers was jointly released by the Taipei Chinese Center International P.E.N., the Malaysian Institute of Translation and Books (Institut Terjemahan & Buku Malaysia), and the Taipei Economic and Cultural Office in Kuala Lumpur.


The collaboration funded by the Emerald Initiative, a Ministry program aimed at deepening cultural exchanges among artists from Taiwan and Southeast Asia, had previously released Chinese and Malay versions of the anthology last April.


The featured writers in the newly released'Anthology of Short Stories Malaysia-Taiwan'are:
