Taiwan's mixed media artist Wu Chi-tsung (吳季璁) has taken the third leg of his solo exhibition tour across the United Kingdom to Sheffield. The exhibition opens on April 4 at the Site Gallery to showcase "Dust,” the final portion of his "Recalibrate” series.

"Dust” was produced at the Site Gallery, and debuted at the 2006 Shanghai Biennial. By capturing the shadows of tiny dust particles as they spiral in response to the viewer's movement, Wu's interactive installations turn everyday materials from mundane to meditative.

The Sheffield edition of Wu's "Recalibrate” tour has also been selected as one of the featured cultural programs of the 2014 Yorkshire Festival, a 100-day festival that precedes the Tour de France's Grand Depart.

Several fringe activities will accompany the month-long exhibition, including a meditation workshop and two book-reading events, as well as a guided tour led by Site Gallery curator Sara Cluggish.
