NTMoFA presents video series and essays on Taiwan's fine arts online

To provide the public easy access to the arts amid the COVID-19 pandemic, National Taiwan Museum of Fine Arts (NTMoFA) has launched a series of online art resources titled "Let's go back to NTMoFA!," "Inspiring Essays on NTMoFA Collections," and "Taiwan Fine Arts Puzzle-Sunten Collection Bilingual Website."

As part of the "Let's go back to NTMoFA!" video series, the museum invited four groups of artists' families to participate in onsite visits to understand more about the preservation and restoration of the artworks collection. The first video of the series featuring artist Chen Hui-kun's (陳慧坤) daughter Chen Yu-xiu (陳郁秀), as well as the second video featuring late artist Lin Yu-san's (林玉山) son Lin Bo-ting (林柏亭), will be available on NTMoFA's official website, YouTube channel and Facebook page, from June 15 onwards.

The second wave of online events "Inspiring Essays on NTMoFA Collections" publishes articles with different themes written by travel writers, food critics, fashion media experts and others, offering diversified viewpoints of appreciating the fine arts collection through multiple perspectives to the public.

In addition, the Sun Ten collection which is currently on view at the museum, is showcased virtually on "Taiwan Fine Arts Puzzle-Sunten Collection" bilingual website. Viewers will be able to browse and search for specific artworks or information about the collection online.

Director of NTMoFA Liang Yung-fei (梁永斐) pointed out that the museum will continue to provide its best services to the public, and publish relevant information on its official website as well as Facebook page.
