The Ministry of Culture organized an author talks event at the 2024 Taipei International Book Exhibition (TiBE) on Feb. 22, where nine authors were invited to share their experiences of participating in the international residency programs sponsored by the ministry.
Among the distinguished guests were Evergreen Yeh (葉長青) and UJ Chen, who enriched their craft at the Maison de la bd (House of the Comic Strip) in France; Siyouko (硝子) and MN, who immersed themselves in Kitakyushu City in Japan; Liglav A-wu, Hu Shu-wen (胡淑雯), and Pam Pam, who engaged with the Literary Colloquium Berlin in Germany; Wu Yen-cheng (吳衍震), who explored artistic endeavors at the Santa Fe Art Institute; and Mu Ke Ke (木可柯), who studied local art and culture in Angouleme, France.
