The Ministry of Culture (MOC) launched the “Cultural Tour: Theaters at Villages (文化平權巡演－庄頭劇場 藝日限定)” program in 2023 to promote cultural equity and to support the performing art industry and local performing arts groups. Following a positive reception last year, two legs of the tour are scheduled to take place this year, from April to June and from October to November, showcasing performances by ten art groups in ten cities and counties.
The first leg of the 2024 tour will feature a prestigious lineup including Paperwindmill Theater (紙風車劇團), National Taiwan Symphony Orchestra (國立臺灣交響樂團), Ju Percussion Group (朱宗慶打擊樂團), Ming Hwa Yuan Arts & Cultural Group (明華園戲劇總團), and Formosa Circus Art (FOCA福爾摩沙馬戲團). The shows will be held in Chiayi County, Kinmen County, Keelung City, Pingtung County, and Yilan County.
