A retrospective on the half-century history of the Golden Bell Awards will be shown at the Songshan Cultural and Creative Park to celebrate its 50th anniversary.

The exhibition will offer roughly 200 selected pieces of documents and audiovisual materials related to Taiwan's prestigious TV and broadcasting awards. Excerpts from some of the best radio programs, awards footage, TV drama costumes, and hand-held glove puppets will be presented.

It will also showcase historic equipment such as black-and-white television sets, old-fashioned microphones, and vacuum-tube radios. A wall of fame with over 100 award winners has also been erected at the Songshan venue.

Visitors can try their hand at radio broadcasting and television production, as well as take pictures with famous idols through virtual reality technology. A live broadcast of the accompanying forums will be available for streaming as well.

The forums will be held at 2pm each weekend during the exhibition. Notable professionals in the television industry, including Huang Tzu-chiao (黃子佼), Chu Yu-ning (瞿友寧), Wu Luo-ying (吳洛纓), and Ma Shi-fang (馬世芳), will share their ideas and experiences.

Reservation is required for joining the forum. Please visit http://gba.tavis.tw or download the official mobile application.
