  • Ming Hwa Yuan is the first traditional performing troupe managed in a modern and systematic way.   • 1987 - "The GrandImmortalof Penglai (蓬萊大仙)- A production based on the story of how Lee Shuan (李玄), the most handsome immortal in Heaven, obtained enlightenment and became the grand immortal of Penglai.


  • 2001 - "The White Serpent Tale (白蛇傳)” - A production adapted from an ancient Chinese legend about the love story of a mortal man and an immortal white snake.


  • 2009 - "Cat Man (貓神)” - A dramatic work telling the story of individual heroism in the face of institutional injustice through Cat Man, a Robin Hood-like character by night and a young politician by day.


  • 2011 - "Formosa-The Legendary Heaven (蓬萊仙島)- A fantasy drama recounting the saga of a military general under the orders of Heavenly Jade Emperor (玉皇大帝) to take the island of Formosa into his kingdom.
