Did You Know That …?
- Led by leading Taiwanese playwright Stan Lai (表演工作坊), Performance Workshop is one of the most influential groups in contemporary Chinese-language theater.
- Its humble origins began in the living room of Lai's residence on Yangmingshan, but the troupe came to fame quickly and celebrated its 30th anniversary in 2015.
- The group's performances combine verbal and body language to evoke a poetic atmosphere interspersed by comedy. The Straits Times commented that "emotions are so real … that people are left crying and laughing at the same time.”

"That Evening, We Performed Crosstalk (那一夜, 我們說相聲)," Performance Workshop’s first production which incorporated the traditional Chinese performance of "crosstalk" with contemporary theater tactics.
"The Village (寶島一村)," based on the memories of the older generation who grew up in Military Dependents' Villages.
"Like Shadows (如影隨行)," a seven-hour drama revolving around a mysterious drifter. It is up to the audience to decide which side of the veil the figure belongs to.
"A Dream Like A Dream (如夢之夢)," an eight-hour epic of romance, extravaganza, and karma told through several interwoven stories.
