- After setting up the Paper Windmill Theatre, co-founder Lee Yung-feng established the Green Ray Theatre, focusing on musical theater for grown-ups, and the Wind Flyers Dance Laboratory, focusing on modern dance.
- In order to facilitate the three artistic groups efficiently and provide a better creative environment, the Paper Windmill Foundation was founded in 1998.
- In 2006, the troupe launched a five-year tour project, titled "First Mile, Kid's Smile: Arts for Children in 319 Townships,” which was aimed at bridging the cultural gap between rural and urban areas, and ensuring that every child in Taiwan had the opportunity to enjoy a live theatrical performance.
