The exhibition "Crystalized Times: 2023 Highlights from the NCPI Collection Chang Lung-ko, Yang Chih-hsin, and Chow Chee-kong (凝光:2023臺灣攝影家百歲典藏展-常龍高、楊基炘、周志剛)," organized by the National Center of Photography and Images (NCPI) to celebrate the centenary birthdays of the photographers, will run until July 9.

Focusing on the three photographers, the storyline of the exhibition begins from the 1940s and the 1950s. Over 90 selected photographic works from the NCPI collection, accompanied by documentary files, are on display.

The exhibition delves into their distinct life experiences and aesthetic perspectives, giving rise to unique and exquisite visual perspectives and creative themes. It also traces the artistic journey of these photographers, exploring the diverse and rich historical trajectories of the era, culture, society, and humanity captured through their photography.

Among the featured photographers, Chang' works showcase the transitions of different eras and his dedication to the photography creation after retirement; Yang’s photographic images from 1950 to 1960 encapsulate the transformative period of Taiwanese society; while, Chow, an advocator of "poetic photography," captured the grand and ever-changing moments of nature, combining his emotional reflections with external landscapes with poetry and photography.
