Charming Eternal Moment—Yung Ting-hwa 90-year-old Photo Solo Exhibition

The "Charming Eternal Moment—Yung Ting-hwa 90-year-old Photo Solo Exhibition (魅力永恆的瞬間─翁庭華90攝影個展)" is now on display at the Bo-ai Gallery and Culture Corridors, located on the first floor of the National Sun Yat-sen Memorial Hall. This exhibition features a collection of 200 remarkable pieces by Yung and will be open to the public until Sept. 26.

Born in Keelung, Yung has dedicated years to documenting his homeland, life, and environmental changes with a camera. He observes stories and changes in landscapes, using the essence of photography to preserve the fleeting moments of time. He began his photography journey in 1960 and has witnessed the evolution of photography from traditional black-and-white images to color photography, digital imagery, and artificial intelligence (AI). Throughout this ever-evolving trend and style of photography, he has adhered to the principle that "change is the only constant," seeking innovation within familiar subjects and striving for creativity in his works to establish his unique aesthetic style.

Yung mentioned that this exhibition marks his 20th solo photography exhibition, and the display of 200 pieces of his work at the National Sun Yat-sen Memorial Hall truly embodies his aspirations. He also explained that his photography has transitioned from the concrete to the abstract, emphasizing the promotion of local culture.
