'Museum for Everyone: Exhibition of Donated Collection, 2011-2015,' which displays the significance of private collections in delineating Taiwanese history, isoffered through four sections —'Figures of That Era,'"Fun Life,” "An Outline of Hundreds of Workers,” and "In Praise of Life.”
The opening ceremony was held on Jan. 13, in which many of the attending donors were senior citizens over the age of 80.
In the past five years, the museum has received such donated artifacts as maps, manuscripts, deeds, diaries, old photographs, old books that were handed down for generations, and living appliances from earlier days.
