Rising Taiwanese filmmakers will meet with French moviegoers at a Taiwan-themed film festival taking place in Paris from Feb. 9 through 11.
“Les Rencontres du Cinema Taiwanais,” or encounters with Taiwanese cinema, will present two full-length films and eleven short films at Les 3 Luxembourg cinema to showcase up-and-coming Taiwanese filmmakers through six screening sessions.
Five Taiwanese filmmakers, including Huang Dan-chi (黃丹琪), will also attend post-screening forums to discuss their work and inspirations.
The festival was made possible by the Taiwan Cultural Center in Paris and Cinematographic Lightbox.
