Did You Know That ...?
- In order to find a location to store and display his various-sized works, artist Ju Ming started buying land in the Jinshan mountainous area in northern Taiwan many years ago. As the property expanded, Ju began building an art museum using his own funds.
- The Juming museum, which opened in 1999 after 12 years of construction, was honored with the 14th Tokyo Creative Award (Foreign Award category) in 2000.
- When the new headquarters of Cloud Gate Dance Theatre opened to the public in 2015, Ju loaned over a dozen sculptures to celebrate the event.
