The Swiss Film Archive (Cinémathèque Suisse) in Lausanne is hosting the "Taiwan Cinema from the 1960s (Cinéma taïwanais des années 1960)" program.

56th Golden Horse Awards slated for Nov. 23
The 56th ceremony of the Golden Horse Awards — Taiwan's annual star-studded tribute to cinema — will be held in Taipei tomorrow. The theme is "In Search of Dark Horses," a nod to the program's equine symbolism and the Mandarin phrase for "underdog."
Museum launches children
Marking the 30th anniversary of the UN Convention on the Rights of the Child, the National Human Rights Museum has launched a special "CRC 30th Anniversary Exhibition" themed "I am a child! I have rights!" to raise awareness in Taiwan.

The National Taiwan Museum is hosting "Old Masters: Australia's Great Bark Artists," which displays rare and fragile works that are literally born of the land, with bark stripped from trees and ochre and clay extracted from the earth.
