Supported by Taiwan’s Ministry of Culture, artist Jun T. Lai is taking part in World Expo 2025 Osaka with her large-scale installation “Flower of Hope.” The work is featured in the Expo’s public art program.
Supported by the Cultural Division of Taipei Representative Office in Italy, the Museum of Oriental Art (MAO) in Turin, Italy, is showcasing Taiwanese artist Tsai Char-wei’s work in its exhibition “Contemporary Expressions,” inaugurated on Nov. 2. 
The Taiwan Cultural Center in Tokyo, in collaboration with Kinokuniya Bookstore, hosted the opening ceremony of the fourth edition of the Taiwan Book Fair on Oct. 6.

Celebrating the 60th Golden Bell Awards, the Bureau of Audiovisual and Music Industry Development (BAMID) under the Ministry of Culture (MOC) is hosting the “Golden Bell 60/60 Exhibition” at Huashan 1914 Creative Park in Taipei through Oct. 19.

The National Taiwan Craft Research and Development Institute (NTCRI) has announced antique porcelain replica artisan Hsu Chao-tsung as the recipient of the 2025 National Crafts Achievement Award.

The National Museum of Taiwan Literature is set to host the inaugural Taiwan Writers Festival from Nov. 7 to 30. Titled “Worlds Awaken,” the festival will bring together 50 writers and translators from Taiwan and abroad.

On June 26, 2014, the Kanakanavu were officially recognized by Taiwan’s government as the 16th indigenous group of Taiwan. As a community unique to the Kaohsiung area, the Kanakanavu people reside along the Nanzixian River, known as “Namasia” in their native language.

To boost nighttime tourism in Anping District, the Tainan City Government constructed a large installation called "Greetings from the Whale" in the Gangbin Historical Park, providing a high vantage point from which the public can enjoy the sunset and nighttime view of Anping Harbor.
